"This is an excellent shoe for winter trail running and general running on snow. Built-in gaiter keeps feet dry and warm, and keeps gravel and crap out. Sole is stiff, but not too stiff. Highly recommended if you live in a snowy area and hate treadmills."gavisk
Quality of Construction
Seems good enough, but I haven't had them long enough to tell.
Fit
They fit me well, size seems right. I ordered them online, which is always kind of a risk size-wise.
Comfort
Very comfortable for a trail runner; not as stiff as many.
Durability
Too soon to tell, really.
Value
Fairly expensive for running shoes.
Appearance
The have a built-in softshell gaiter, which I think looks pretty cool.
Performance
Excellent traction on gravel and snow, fairly light for a trail runner.
Strengths
Traction, warmth, GREAT for running in snow/mud. Keep your feet really dry. The gaiter does a good job of keeping crap out of your shoes.
Weakness
Not very breathable. Above 50 degrees my feet get very hot.
Ease of use
Shoe uses a cordlock fastener instead of tied laces. Easy.
