"One of the best bikes I have ever had, and drastic improvement. Been with Kestrel 11 years, and they keep getting better and better. Customer service and Steve with Kestrel is really behind his brand. I'm in for the long overhall with Kestrel I did try a few other brands, and went with them ovewelmingly. Not a hard decision to make."devouahy
Ease of use
Really fun bike to use, and the SRAM Red is supper smooth on the shifting. Much smootherr bike than my old Kestrel Talon that I bought 11 years ago.
Quality of Construction
Hard to tell as I've haad this bike fo 2 months, but really seems to be solidly built. Just like my Talon that I had for 11 years.
Fit
TriSports spent about 4 1/2 hours doing a custom fit, so the bike fits me like a glove. Plus I get to go back every six month to get re-checked.
Comfort
The fit I designed for was more for Olympic / HIM's, so I did not go for the most comfotable fit. I would have a 5 if I set it up for the full IM, but next two years is focussed on speed building with some endurance for the HIM's.
Adjustability
Eveything on the bike is really easy to adjust. Only two size threads for the hex's to adjust not like 3 or more on some othe bikes.
Durability
Since I've had it for two months, hard to predict, but my Talon lasted strong 11 years, and still a good bike.
Value
For the built as a pre-built as is, it is a really good bike. It would of costed me over $9,000.00 to build it myself with the BT discount. Paid 6,300 in december sale as they needed to clear stocks.
Appearance
Beautifully well finished, and love it. Well match on the colors.
Customer Service
Customer service with Kestrel and TriSports is beyound reproach. They are 5+ on that.
Performance
On some of the courses i train on, I have been able to already go same pace as before, and that is with some weight gain, and completely out of shape. Can't wait to use full capability. Excellent handling, and definitively an improvement over the Talon.
Strengths
Overall, they have improved stiffness in the crank area, and the bike seems a lot smoother. Really sweet bike, and really in love with it. Kestrel has overdone themselves again.
Weakness
As is off the rack, bike did not fit well. Needed some minor adjustment in stem length and with adjustment on the handlebar.

Ease of installation
Traveled to triSports in Tuscon, and they thought me how to do maintenance, torque on different piesces that I would work on, etc.. I had no installation to do, but all this was done during the bike fit.
