"So far so good.

I've purchased everything for this product. The foot pod, the speed/cadence sensor, the USB stick for wireless connection and the bike mount. I think it is a quality product from Garmin which strikes the customer base that doesn't want/need the GPS feature.

It has met and exceeded my expectations.

No real installation required with the exception of the Garmin Connect suite for your computer if you choose to use it.

The menu system is fantasic! I was able to setup the watch completely without even cracking the user guides included with it.

Scratch resistant watchface and rubber band. Firm (but not too firm) plastic buttons, easily readable watch face. Customizable displays during workouts, backlight for night usage. High quality.

I think the fit is excellent. Plenty of holes for movement for both bigger wrists and smaller ones.

(5)

About as comfortable as a watch can be.

I love the fact that this watch can be customized to display what you want it too. The displays during workouts can be changed to display as much or as little of information as you want (Pace, speed, calories burned, time of day, heartrate, heartrate zone [0.1 to 5.0], duration, etc) + way more. This is a really great feature and I think a high selling point.

The watch strap cannot be changed out as it is part of the unit. That being said the strap is made of durable rubber which is both water proof and dirt resistant. So I think it would take a lot to damage it. I've only used it for a couple of weeks now so time will tell.

Garmin says the watch is good underwater for 50m but they don't recommend pressing the buttons while the watch is underwater to prevent any problems.

Could be cheaper... as always. But I feel the price is about the norm one would pay for a similar product from a different manufacturer.

(5)

The time mode display is large and displays everything I want it to. I'm wearing it as an everyday watch for both work/home/fitness.

Who knows... I'll find this out if I have a problem.

Does what I need it too and much much more.

- Customizable displays
- Large easy to read face
- Durable rubber watch band
- User replacable watch battery
- Value
- Garmin name
- Heart rate scale (0.1 to 5.0) (displayed in 0.1 increments)
- Optional accessories (foot pod, speed/cadence sensor, USB receiver, etc)
- No GPS (doesn't suck your batteries away in 10 hours of use)
- Wireless USB stick for computer syncing.
- Works flawlessly through Garmin connect for BT training logs.

- No GPS (doesn't provide your GPS feedback which some users like)
- Could be a bit more stlyish
- Non-replacable watch band
- User must use the menu set to change the exercises/pods monitored. (For example if your running you need to set it to run mode, if you then start to bike you need to set it to bike mode)
