"Not a ton of features, but with date/time, backlight, heart rate, duration of workout, average HR and peak HR, what else do you need? It does what it does and it does it well, and it's relatively stylish and non-bulky."eklung05
Quality of Construction
Haven't had any issues with part failure.
Fit
The strap fits fine and stays up when I tuck it into my sports bra band. The watch also fits fine, even with my small wrists
Comfort
I don't notice the chest strap when it's on, which I think is a plus, and though I hate wearing watches, I can ignore this one pretty well, too.
Adjustability
No problems here.
Durability
I've heard that the watch face scratches easily, but I only use this for running and cycling and I haven't taken any hard spills with it on. I don't wear the watch during my down time at all, so who knows? Also, the phrase "water resistant" makes me extremely nervous, but I took a chance and wore the chest strap during a triathlon and it held up just fine. It didn't even chafe. I didn't take the watch in the water and chose not to put it on until the run when I had time to do that, so not sure about the watch itself in the water.
Value
$60 feels steep to me for a watch, but you have to consider how useful HRMs are for training purposes. Also, on the spectrum of HRMs, this is cheap!
Appearance
All watches look bulky on me since I have small wrists, but I don't mind this very much at all. The chest strap is not noticeable when it's on.
Customer Service
Haven't needed to use Polar's customer service at all.
Performance
No complaints, and I can definitely see my performance improve as I train with this.
Strengths
Simple and relatively easy to use. It does exactly what it's designed to do, and that's it.
Weakness
I had originally wanted the Garmin Forerunner 305 which has a foot pod and GPS, but it costs hundreds of dollars. Realistically, I'm just not at that level of training. I don't usually like to pick the cheapest available product because I think you eventually pay for its cheapness in service or quality, but this turned out to be a great purchase for me. Maybe someday when I'm logging dozens of miles instead of just 5-10 a week, I'll invest in something a little more high-tech, but in the meantime, I am very happy with this guy.

Ease of use
I don't like reading instruction manuals, but I did have to read this one to program my heart rate target zones and figure out how to use it. Once I did read it, though, it wasn't too hard to set it up and it's a breeze to use.
