"It's an ipod shuffle 3rd gen with tap stick all waterproofed down to 25 feet deep.

I love this device, I am going to get the new controller so no tap stick.

If swimming gets a little old to you this will help big time.

First day I used it I found I wasn't getting tired I was getting board, doubled my swimming duration, in the pool that is.

It's an ipod shuffle 3rd gen with tap stick all waterproofed.

The one I got came with a tap stick as a controller which is lacking some controls compared to the actual Ipod controler, like restart song, last song.

Ipod shuffle 3rd Gen waterproofed from inside out, you can't tell by looking at it.

Under water head set works great.

Plug tubes into ears, so they double as ear plugs. Pull ear plugs out slowly so you don't pop you're ear drums.

I guess you can adjust your music, but I must say the music that gets me going in the gym is not the music that keeps me going in the water.

100% in pool water, unknown fresh water, sometimes has decreasing volume issue in salt water.

But don't just throw in water, you are not supposed to get water in ear phone tubes that plug in ears.

It is a little pricey but it works in and out of water just the same, plus doubles as ear plugs.

To be frank it looks like a small pack of gum on back of head and the ear pieces are black tubes that come out of you ears and go to goggle strap.

I haven't needed it.

I have been using it steadily four about 5-6 months now. I have to charge it maybe every three weeks or so.

Never had a single problem in the pool, swimming 3 days a week for .5 hour to 2 hours.

Battery lasts a long time.

In Gulf of Mexico I think a little water gets in the tap stick and occasionally lowers volume, new version doesn't have tap stick.

Once I get on dry land I turn it back on and raise the volume no problem.

Controls are through a tap stick and are limited to start, stop, volume up/down, and next song.

Need to rinse it and occasionally clean corrosion off tap stick mini plug.
