"I love this bike. At this point even if I had the money I would not upgrade. For my skill level (weak); it is perfect. "njmick

Put together by LBS

I had never used gear shifters on the brakes like that before. Took a little getting used to but super easy.

Seems good. I'm short 5'0 and weigh 165 pounds. So this little 43cm bike is doing a lot of work. I am comfortable on it and nothing has broken so far

(4)

Was fitted at the LBS and I can go back there anytime to have them do any readjustments. Seems good but I have zero knowledge in this area.

I'm mostly comfortable. I think any discomfort is from not riding this type of bike since high school. I have only been on a mountain or hybrid. It takes adjusting to be more parallel like that. But I feel pretty good now. May upgrade the saddle.

It took them a while to get me set up as my body type is not ideal. My legs are very short. The LBS was able to get done right I feel.
Marty's Reliable in Randolph NJ

Fell once while trying to master the clipless shoes. No damage. I find it very durable. I've ridden over some rough terrain and was able to hold on. I give most of that credit to the bike.

(5)

For an entry level bike it is more than I expected. It's the lightest bike I've ever ridden. I have not ever ridden a more expensive bike so it's the best I've ever been on. That's good enough for me.

(5)

I have gotten dozens of compliments on the look of this bike. I got the white with silver and red. I think it looks super sharp and so do many other people I've come across

Can't comment on Trek since I haven't had to contact them. Marty's Reliable in Northern NJ was great. Showed me everything I needed. Didn't try to upsell me. Showed me how to change a flat (twice since I'm dense)

Not sure about speed since I bike so slow. I used it in a sprint triathlon and averaged 16 miles per hour. Not great I know but on my old hybrid I couldn't even get up hills. I was averaging 12-14 on the hybrid and only trained a week with the new bike so it did improve my time. With proper training I'm sure I can average 20 on this bike on the same course.

Smooth, Light (to me anyway), easy shifting, pretty

A few times I've had to hold the shifter for a few seconds to get the gear to change. Doesn't really bother me.
