"I was excited to see everything I have in my Garmin 305 plus the ability to swim and use my existing Cadence and heart rate strap and compatibility with a power meter. I was exceptionally disappointed.
-Would not recognize my Garmin Cadence sensor (although it did work with my Garmin HRM strap)
-Although the sceen is the exact same size as the Garmin 305, the digits are only about 2/3 the size making it much more difficult to read.
-Charger/USB chord failed on second day of use, pretty much putting this thing out of commission.
-Battery only lasted about 7 hours (less than half of advertised life.
So after one use, I found it much harder to read that the Garmin 305 and the battery died prematurely with no functioning chord for charging. I'm sending it back tomorrow."pappy
Fit
It's bulkier (thicker) than my Garmin 305.
Durability
lasted 1 short run and 1 long bike ride before it failed completely.
Appearance
Bulky, but looks more like watch than the garmin 305.
Performance
very disappointing.
Strengths
Very handy bike mount-no screws, no tiedowns, just wrap it around. Mounts using the regular wristband making it easy to take off the bike in T2 of one so desires.
Weakness
Digits too small. Creates a hazardous situation on the bike due to increase in heads-down time.
- 2 people use
- 58 workouts logged
- 145.78 miles / 15.81 hours logged
Ease of use
Pretty straight foward.
