"This is a great training and race-day hat. I can't wait to find one that fits me better."bigpapajon
Fit
This is only a 2 for me because I have a big head. I wear a size 7 3/4 or 8 fitted hat and this running hat does not fit my head well. I wish that Headsweats would follow the Adidas hat size model and offer a S/M size and L/XL size even in adjustable hats. This allows for a higher crown that fits the larger heads and a smaller crown for smaller heads. Just adding a larger strap on the back makes it look like a jewish yarmulke with a bill. Both caps and yarmulkes are great, but they don't really mix well.
Comfort
It's only lower because it's slightly too small for my head.
Adjustability
Great adjustment strap. I'd like to see a good flex-fit from them, too.
Durability
Well-made, but lightweight materials just aren't as durable, so it can't get a 5.
Value
Mine was free from a sponsor, but for $20, this is a no-brainer for non big-headed folks. I'm going to go to some local stores to try some one and hope for some bad quality-control that let a bigger visor slip through.
Appearance
Look cool. Lots of colors, too. They also have great, affordable customization for clubs and races. This is a popular swag item.
Performance
Does it's job. The terry cloth headband sucks up the sweat from your head. Thus, Headsweats.
Strengths
(1) Lightweight and breathable
(2) Lots of colors and style options
(3) Great price point
Weakness
(1) Not big head-friendly. Need two size ranges and some flex-fit options.
Quality of Construction
Very well-designed and well-made. Great materials, workmanship, and overall product.
