"They are not the be all, end all of goggles for every occasion, but for the money and everyday leak proof performance, they are the best I have ever used. For my regular pool training sessions, I'll never use anything else again."Francie_chan

I purchased the goggles at SwimOutlet.com, and they came already assembled.

Incredibly easy to use and fit to my eyes.

It looks like a small hard plastic eye wash cup that fits over your eye. The quality is in the design. The anti-fog coating really works.

Great for hard-to-fit Asian faces. Not once have they ever leaked.

(5)

Once you get used to them, you won't know they're on your face.

(5)

Everything is adjustable--head strap, nose piece

(5)

Don't know how durable they are. I just started using them.

You can't beat the price!

Very cool-looking. Makes you look like a pro even if you're not.

Performance gets a 4 because of the poor optical quality.

Malmsten's Swedish goggles are completely leak proof and surprisingly comfortable. I have been searching for years and tried countless models and manufacturers but have always had a problem with leaking. No one seems to make a goggle to fit my Asian face and eye shape. The Swedish goggles fit into your eye sockets rather than the perimeter of your eye, so there's no need to worry about trying to fit the goggle to the bone structure around the eye. I dry fitted them first at home before taking them into the water. SwimOutlet sends them pre-assembled, so I didn't have the hassle of figuring out how to put them together like I had read in others' reviews.

PERIPHERAL DISTORTION: Looking straight ahead, visibility looks fine, but trying to look through the periphery, objects are severely distorted. It gives you vertigo until you get used to it. I would be willing to pay more for the same design but with higher optical quality if they ever made one.

RIGIDITY: Wearing the hard plastic directly against the skin seems like it should hurt, but it's very comfortable, even more so than my padded Barracudas. HOWEVER, I'm not so sure that I'd want to wear this during a meet where I might get kicked or shoved in the face. Ouch.
