"I started using this shoe when I was 275, and it held up really well. Most shoes can't stand up to the beating big guys give on the road, but these shoes held together really well. These shoes are also very comfortable for shock absorption, but feel very light. I can't wait to get my new pair, and the new 2011 models come in orange, too :)"johnnyfulltime
Fit
I went to one of the Road Runner shoe stores and this was the shoe they paired me with.
Comfort
A very comfortable shoe. These felt like they had a lot more shock absorption than the Asics I used to wear, and they felt lighter.
Durability
I used one pair to train for and compete in a sprint tri, 10 miler, half marathon, and numerous 5ks. At a race weight of 240 lbs these held up for a very long time to some punishing runs from a big guy.
Value
I originally thought $120 was pricey for a pair of shoes, but given the performance and durability of these shoes I can't complain at all.
Customer Service
Road Runner stores rock!
Performance
I felt great running in these shoes. I give these shoes credit for improving my run time. Even if these shoes didn't directly make me faster, they made running more comfortable, which led to weight loss, which led to faster run times.
Strengths
A great comfortable and durable shoe for Clydes.
Weakness
None really. I wish the 2010 model had been available in orange?
