"A great budget pedal. You won't win any awards for looks with them, but they are inexpensive and reliable, with adequate performance."SevenZulu

Pedals mount easily with an allen wrench. Lube the threads thoroughly first.

(5)

Entry and exit from the pedals has been consistently easy and reliable at the default resistance setting.

(4)

The only knock on these is that the allen wrench size for mounting seemed somewhat small, which might make for some difficulty removing the pedals later on.

(5)

Cleats are a perfect match for a 3-hole design. No difficulties at all mounting to my Sidi shoes.

(5)

No hot spots, no problems whatsoever on longer rides.

I personally have not adjusted the tension on these pedals, but there's a simple adjustment with a screw driver should you need to dial the release tension up or down a bit.

I had hoped that these pedals wouldn't develop noise between the cleats and pedal after I had put some miles on them. For the first few months, they were great. However, like my previous Look pedals, these Keo knockoffs have begun to make a squeak-like sound occasionally during various riding conditions. It seems to be more humidity related than anything. It's an annoyance, but I can live with it. Just makes it hard to sneak up on riders in front of you. In the past, replacing cleats on my older Looks only eliminated the noise temporarily, so I'm guessing that doing this would have the same result with these pedals.

(5)

I got these for a sale price of $40 less 20% coupon code, so $32 total. Hard to beat that for a decent quality clipless road pedal.

(3)

They are a grey-blue color. Doesn't really match my frame, and I can't say that I like it. Black would be preferable.

(3)

There are undoubtedly lighter pedal options out there. But these have performed adequately.

Inexpensive, performs reliably.

Eventually you may get noise from the cleats and pedals rubbing.
