"This is a great trainer for the money. For me it was between this one and the Kurt Kinetic Road Machine. I chose this because other reviews said it was good, it was a bit cheaper than the Road Machine, and I was able to purchase it locally, which I would not have been able to do with the Kurt Kinetic. Ease of use
Put your bike on, and go. Comes with a skewer for use on the trainer.
Quality of Construction
Very sturdy, I have had no issues. Quiet also.
Adjustability
Resistance is adjustable by adjusting the position of the resistance unit. I generally leave mine alone and just use my gears.
Durability
Very sturdy and durable, no issues.
Value
I probably could have gotten it cheaper by ordering online, but I went to a local bike shop because I wanted to get started using it.
Customer Service
I haven't had any need for customer service.
Performance
It does the trick, and is pretty quiet. I use it in the early morning while my family sleeps upstairs. I have yet to wake anyone up and have had no complaints.
Strengths
It is sturdy, easy to use, and quiet. Getting your bike on and off is pretty simple. It comes with a DVD (Real Rides with Robby Gordon) I have used the DVD once, it is challenging.
Weakness
None that I have found
- 173 people use
- 8682 workouts logged
- 158234.47 miles / 11172.32 hours logged
Ease of installation
Just a bit tricky to mount the resistance unit to the stand. It is pretty heavy and holding it while trying to line up the mounting bolt was a bit tricky. Probably would have been easier with a second person helping.
