"A great HRM that can still be worn as a daily watch, with enough basic functions for a beginner."tcj103
Ease of use
I haven't really read the owners manual, using the software to adjust settings on the watch is a nice option.
Quality of Construction
After about 9 months of almost daily use, the watch failed. Button functions ceased operating, and after replacing the battery, it was still dead. Timex replaced watch under warranty.
Comfort
The chest strap is comfortable, though sometimes slips before I get a good sweat. The watch is VERY comfortable; I wear it as a normal watch and frequently can't even feel it on my wrist.
Durability
After about 9 months of almost daily use, the watch failed. Button functions ceased operating, and after replacing the battery, it was still dead. Timex replaced watch under warranty.
Customer Service
Timex replaced the watch under warranty
Strengths
Ease of use, ability to download heart rate history
Weakness
Display options, visibility in low-light
- 4 people use
- 0 workouts logged
- 950.68 miles / 72.13 hours logged
Ease of installation
I bought the version with the on-line data exchanger option. The software is downloaded from Timex, and isn't included. The software installed easily, and has been pretty stable.
