"Great shoe, good price. Best would probably be for fast workouts and half-marathon and up."DLang1452
Fit
Fits tight through the middle of the shoe.
Comfort
Pretty comfortable for a performance trainer/racer.
Adjustability
Pretty standard as far as a running shoe goes.
Durability
Again, very durable stitching and outsole. I have logged closed to two hundred miles of tempo runs and races in these shoes and they show minor wear and tear.
Value
Moderately priced for versatility of the product. This shoe can be worn for workouts and on race days. If you are an efficient runner, you could probably get about two months of standard training out of these shoes before they start to wear out. I would have liked to have payed around $80, considering you are going to get less than 250 miles out of them.
Appearance
I am a fan the all white base with subtle black, blue, and yellow lines. I'm not a huge fan of flashy or ornate shoes.
Performance
I wore these shoes for fast training days, a 5k road race, and a sprint triathlon. Under the same conditions a racing flat would have been better, but the Tempos held up very well. If anything, these shoes would be a great fit for half-marathon and up.
Strengths
Durable, responsive, attractive, and versatile.
Weakness
No shoe is perfect, everyone will find something that doesn't quite fit or cater to there running style. For me, this was a great shoe that was a little narrow and I have a pretty narrow foot to begin with.
