"Great intro-minimalist shoe with enough cushion to hammer out 15mi or more. "DLang1452
Ease of use
Again, its a shoe.
Quality of Construction
Seems to be very well made. Saucony usually puts out great shoes.
Fit
Fits like a sock. The upper hugs the top of the foot while the EVA foam sole cradels the bottom of the foot quite nicely.
Comfort
Feels like a very cushioned ride for being a minimalist shoe. Much like Nike Free, but sturdier. The tear resistant upper is very breathable which comes in handy with hotspots..
Durability
Don't know yet, but I trust the Saucony brand.
Value
A very versatile shoe for such a low price tag. The shoe doubles as a trainer for an efficient runner and a racing shoe (not quite a racing flat, but at 7.7oz, its pretty darn close.) I would expect to pay $90 or more for this shoe.
Appearance
I bought the not quite as attractive all vibrant blue Kinvaras from my local Academy. I would have preferred the much more appealing White upper/red midsole or the Orange upper/black midsole.
Customer Service
I would get fitted professionally before buying a minimalist shoe. Your local running/tri store should have someone who can assess your step (can tell you if you over pronate, under pronate, heel strike, mid strike, etc.) Stay away from the foot lockers and finish lines unless you know exactly what you need.
Performance
Not sure yet, but they feel as if they will be a fast and responsive shoe.
Strengths
Low Price
Versatility
Appearance (if you get one of the other color schemes)
Weakness
Not sure if the longevity of the shoe will be more than 250mi, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
