"For basic Point A to Point B, it is a wonderful and easy to maintain bike. When I take to it's first comp, I know it will make it to the finish...although probably not in first. Not bad for a salvaged bike that sat unused for the better part of the last decade."nursewithambition
Comfort
Wonderfully comfortable with the addition of a new saddle.
Adjustability
Although the seat post is adjustable, the handlebar screw was stripped. Surprising since it had never been ridden.
Durability
Definitely tough, as it's actually a commuter bike that takes me to work and back daily as part of my training.
Value
Couldn't beat the price, although I understand it was originally purchased at Target for under 150 dollars.
Performance
Now that I've gotten used to the ride, I find that it's fairly limited as far as speed, due to it's small number of gears (6 speed). Also, with it's tires an odd blend of road and off-road, the bike slides easily in sand.
Strengths
Tough, reliable, and easy to maintain.
Weakness
Heavy, and unstable in sand or loose gravel.

Quality of Construction
More a problem of a poor set up (stripped screws, gearing out of whack) compounded by years of neglect, better components may have held up better.
