"Overall great suit. The Xterra Vortex 4 was slightly better due to fit and float. With both being similar price i would get the Vortex. "xatefrogg
Ease of use
Put it on and swim. Wetsuits are never easy to get on and off.
Quality of Construction
Good panel construction and seams. I didn't particularly like the armpit panel, although it does maybe help in flexibility it seems a little cheap and looks weird.
Fit
I am 5'7" 150 lbs and i got the small and it was too constrictive in the chest. I got fatigued in the chest as I swam.
Comfort
Overall good comfort except in the chest. I have a slightly larger chest.
Adjustability
not needed
Durability
Good construction and reputible company
Value
Bought this used.
Appearance
I look pretty dang cool with it on.
Performance
I had a Blue Seventy Sprint and the 2011 Xterra Vortex 4 to compare. I took them both out and swam 1 mile in each. The flexibility, bouyancy and performance of the Xterra was better for me than the Blue Seventy Sprint. The B70 seemee too constrictive in the chest and I actually started getting fatigued in my chest after .5 mile. They both have great float but i would give 1 point more to Xterra. Construction quality i would give 1 point up on the Blue Seventy. The Xterra's seams were more visible.
Strengths
Float between the B70 and Xterra vortex 4 were similar but xtera was slightly better.
Weakness
Too small in the chest for me.
