Ease of use

A little bit of set up. Once you are used to the menu system Sports Instruments uses it is very easy.

Quality of Construction

Only had this one for a month but my previous SI product has held up well for 2 years (other than replacing batteries).

Chest strap and wrist watch both are very comfortable to wear.

Great price. I bought this off ebay, but looking at new prices it is still a great price.

Looks good enough to wear when not training. Maybe not with a suit and tie but in casual wear, sure.

Performance

Not a glitch in the first month.

Strengths

It will calculate 5 training zones based either on LT or MHR. Apparently the zone methodolgy is based on Friel's methods. The zones lined up pretty good with those calculated on this site using my field test LT. Was within 1 or 2 BPM. It has 200 laps, dual programable countdown timers for intervals, etc. It also keeps 7 days of work out history.

Weakness

You cant shut off the beep! Really my only complaint. Every single time you press a button, it beeps. Is nice to confirm that the lap button has been pushed, but when retrieving data from a workout it kinda sucks.
