"I decided to take the plunge and get an aero helmet this year. Wanted one with a shorter tail because I seem to spend a fair amount of time with me head looking down and didn't want the tail turning into a "sail" when my head's out of position. Narrowed it down to the Lazer and a Rudy Project Helmet with similar appearance. Chose the Lazer because of price. Found it on line at a place with free shipping. Helmet is light, easy to put on, and comfortable. I've been wearing it on some training rides, and do think I'm getting a noticable boost in speed. All in all, I wish I'd bought this helmet yers ago."g_shotts

Slips on and off easily. Glasses fit with no problems. Buckle is outstanding.

Overall good, but ear flaps feel flimsy.

(5)

Easy to adjust via "wheel" on top of helmet.

Excellent. Have only used it on short (less than 2-hour) training rides so far.

(3)

Only two sizes, but cable style tensioning system is fantastic.

Too soon to tell.

(4)

Much cheaper than Rudy Project which I also considered.

Looks good to me. Lots of color choices available.

I think I'm getting about 1/2-MPH speed boost at equivalent effort, but it's tough to tell until racing season starts.

Smaller aero helmet with a shorter tail than most. Easy to adjust harness tension when it's on. Magnetic buckle is fantastic.

Ear flaps feel flimsy. No problems so far, but I keep worrying about breaking them.
