"Great bike for a beginner, I would highly recommend it."jelaskad
Ease of use
Very easy to ride, everything is where its supposed to be.
Quality of Construction
Paint looks good. I had to reapply thread locker to the mounting bolts for the brake calipers because they started to come loose on longer rides (2+ hours)
Fit
Im 6'1" and have very long arms/ legs and the 60cm frame size fits me like a charm
Comfort
Not the most comfortable over s**t roads but better than other budget road bikes I test rode. Saddle is pretty good. Stock bar tape kinda sucks
Adjustability
Pretty easy to dial your fit in
Durability
No problems in the first year. Had to tune the derailleurs a few times but nothing out of the ordinary.
Value
Great bike for the price, especially as a first roadie
Appearance
I love the black and silver with a hint of blue. Put some blue cages and blue bar tape and the bike looks pretty slick
Customer Service
Never dealt with Trek
Performance
Its obviously not the worlds fastest bike. For a starter bike it has plenty of gears and will get you quick if you get out and ride.
Strengths
Inexpensive, good construction quality, reasonably stiff, great brakes, comfortable.
Weakness
As your performance improves you amy want a bigger cassette, and probably a standard chainring.
