"Champion Systems' cycling kits have worked well for me in the past, but these tri shorts just aren't as good as I would have expected."RBesecke
Quality of Construction
The hems were frayed when I got the shorts, which wasn't encouraging.
Fit
These shorts just don't fit right. They're listed as being the same size as every other manufacturer, but there's a lot of loose material in the leg that either bunches in the crotch (saddle sore or chafing will result) or around the thigh.
Comfort
I've ridden with them twice and raced in them once. The fit detracts from the comfort. Maybe it's just the way I'm shaped, but I won't be using these often.
Adjustability
Too much fabric around the thighs (I think this is a repeating theme with this review). Too easy to bunch-up and cause saddle sores.
Durability
I can't really say how durable they are because I've been hesitant to use them much. Between the poor fit and the frayed seams and hems, I don't feel confident.
Value
I got these at-cost from the LBS, so I got what I paid for.
Appearance
Other than the bunched fabric, they look fine.
Strengths
The fabric itself is ok, and the pad isn't a problem. The silicone beads at the leg hem do hold the bottom hems in place well.
Weakness
They came from the manufacturer with frayed seams, and the poor fit left some painful chafing after my race yesterday. I don't know yet if I'll use them again.

Ease of use
It's a pair of tri shorts. They aren't difficult to put on, though the poor fit makes adjusting the extra fabric a challenge.
