"Get one and never worry about chain wear again. Just remember to use it. If $10 is better spent on other things, then learn to use a ruler."danimal123
Ease of use
Foolproof. I used a metal shop ruler for years...and if you're strapped for cash this works and it's easy, but ths takes ALL of the guesswork out of checking chain wear.
Quality of Construction
It's Park Tools. Their stuff lasts....
Fit
Works w/ any road/mtb chain.
Comfort
Don't wear it!
Adjustability
Only two different wear levels are measured, so if you need other data, you need to use a ruler/calipers.
Durability
Looks like new after 2.5 yrs of banging around in my toolbox.
Value
I give it a "3" because while it's built to last and only $10, you really can get away just as well w/ any ruler you have lying around the house, so this isn't a "must-have" item.
Appearance
Shiny, metal, has that sexy "Park" logo, but it's a tool, that's all.
Customer Service
Never had to deal w/ Park's customer service.
Performance
Easy to use and reliable.
Strengths
Foolproof, not too expensive for a Park product, holds up well.
Weakness
Sort of a "luxury item" for the toolbox IMHO, but then again, it seems most cyclists don't know how to use a ruler to measure chain wear.

Ease of installation
Sits on the chain and lets you know two different wear levels (0.5% and 0.75%).
