"Overall a great shoe. I'm going to get another set of newtons to rotate my shoes. Every time I rotate back to my old shoes now I'm not a happy runner. My feet feel "dead" so I find I'm not rotating the shoes very much anymore. "berndog
Ease of use
Takes a little time to transition too. But easy to run in
Quality of Construction
60km latter no signs of wear
Fit
Fit my feet very well, also they feel lively.
Comfort
Since I run with a mid foot strike they keep me in the zone. Very comfortable shoe
Durability
So far so good, no signs of wear after 60km
Value
Little pricey, but every time I switch back to my saucny echelon5 I quickly forget price. The newtons feel so much faster and "alive"
Appearance
Sexy
Performance
This is where the newton really shines for me. I run in the chi style using a mid foot strike. And the newtons really work well. I ran a 26:36 5km in my last tri on the weekend and for me that is a PR. 6 ft 225 lb clydesdale (in good shape). I felt strong the whole way.
Strengths
Easy to maintain my style of running. I have used the sir isaacs for racing, trail running, and training. I love them.
Weakness
There is a small transition time to get used to them.
