"As my first road bike, I love it. I've gotten a number of compliments. Ride on!"area51tazz
Ease of use
It took a little time to get used to the shifting system, but I really like it now that I've used it for a while.
Quality of Construction
I would have chosen different wheels to put on it, but everything else has been really good. I've already had to have both wheels tru'd
Fit
I had them fit the bike to me, so it's very comfortable for long rides. Make sure your local bike shop does this for you.
Comfort
Replace the seat, but otherwise, all is stock. I've got the Shimano A530 Pedals for use with SPD and regular shoes.
Adjustability
The seat post is pretty fixed, but everything else (mainly the wheels), are quick release.
Durability
Only complaint again is the wheels, though I read that a number of times before I bought it.
Value
I bought this bike new from Sun and Ski Sports, but got a great deal on it because it was last year's model.
Appearance
Love the colors and style. I have the blue model (not sure if it comes in other options)
Customer Service
The service at my shop (Sun and Ski Sports) is awesome!
Performance
I came from a $350 Walmart mountain bike, so this thing is as light as a feather compared to what I was on. Coming straight off of that, I can hit a consistent 17mph average...and I still consider myself a "beginner"
Strengths
Shifting System, tires, brakes
Weakness
Wheels
- 11 people use
- 156 workouts logged
- 3137.98 miles / 266.15 hours logged
Ease of installation
The shop put it together for me.
