"Fantastic shoe and worth the money. Consider these shoes if you run on your forefoot or if you run on your heels, but get a lot of knee, leg, shin pain.

Yes, they are expensive, but so are physical therapists.

Quality is good - no complaints. Seems to be as good as any other shoe I've owned.

Like Newton recommends, you will likely need a bigger shoe than you current use. I normally use a size 11 (sometimes 10.5 depending on the manufacturer), but my Newton's are size 12.

So far so good. I've put a little under 100 miles on the shoes and I've seen little wear on the lugs.

They are pricey, but worth it. I started forefoot running prior to buying them, but other shoes put all of the cushioning in the heel, so my shins and knees felt the impact of landing on ashpalt. I don't have this pain anymore.

I'm not a flashy guy, so having to get used to bright red shoes was an adjustment. (They were less flashy than the bright green ones). However, I get a lot of compliments on them.

Their YouTube videos were a big help to learning about proper running form. Their website had a lot of good information as well.

Much less shin and knee pain, so I can run faster and more often. Over a two week period, my training pace for 3 miles dropped from about 10:45/mile to 10:00/mile.

The only shoe really designed for forefoot running but that aren't minimalist shoes (barefoot runners also run on their forefoot and minimalist shoes try to be barefoot-light). Newtons have these "lugs" under the forefoot that reduces that shock of landing on a hard surface like asphalt or concrete.
I have much less shin and knee pain now, leading to be able to run faster and more often.

It takes some time to adjust. Their website says 2-4 weeks of "calf tenderness" and they were right, even though I thought I was efficient at forefoot running. I also learned that I landed on my heel much more than I previously thought. My heel was sore after the first time running with them. I bought some Dr Schols inserts during about a 2 week transition period, which helped a lot.
