"In summary, these were my first fitted, dedicated pair of running shoes, and they served that purpose well. I would consider these an all-around trainer, and they will be the standard by which I judge all future running shoes in the future."mirthfuldragon
Ease of use
I had no issues running with these.
Quality of Construction
I'm a pretty big guy - ~185 pounds, and these were my first running shoes. I got about 300 solid miles on them before I found a noticeable degradation in comfort. By 400 miles though, they were done. Almost all the miles were on pavement.
Fit
They fit true to size for me.
Comfort
They are solid trainers - good weight and feel, with a nice ride. They have an 8mm heel to toe drop, which worked really well for me. The mesh upper is also breathable and highly ventilated, which helps wick away sweat. However, the mesh upper is a compromise - it's great in the heat, but I would not use these in the wet at all, since they will let rain and puddles right in and soak your feet quickly.
Durability
Again, 300 good miles, with another 100 okay miles, and now they're pretty much spent.
Value
I was satisfied with the value, given the use I put them through. More miles would always, of course, be better, but I am a big guy, so there is some level of reduced expectation.
Appearance
They aren't anything special - my pair was grey with orange accents, so not the typical bright loud shoe colors we see now.
Performance
These shoes are trainers, and I used them for all types of running - base building, tempos, hill repeats, LSD, and they responded to each workout fine.
Strengths
Solid construction, breathable upper for hot weather, nice road feel and balance.
Weakness
400 miles of wear only, noticeable degradation after 300 miles, mesh upper will let water in in rainy or damp days.

Ease of installation
I like the laces a lot - they are a bit stretchy, and not the typical braided laces. I never had any issues with them coming untied while running.
