"A really good shoe for speed training and as a race shoe. If you like a more minimal shoe type, I strongly recommend the Pure Connect!"NeverTri'd
Ease of use
One foot in front of the other. Pretty simple.
Quality of Construction
Have been a big fan of Brooks' Pure line of shoes. Have not had any problems with any I've used.
Fit
Fairly narrow in the toe box. Fits me well but if you have wide feet I'd suggest giving them a good try before committing to buy,
Comfort
Not as much padding as the Pure Flow but they do well. I've run a 10K in them with no problems. Couldn't imagine running more than a half marathon in them.
Adjustability
The same as any other shoe. Adjust the laces to suit your preference.
Durability
You won't get as much wear as typical running shoes. Expect to get around 300 miles out of the Pure Connect.
Value
Good construction and performance. Couldn't rate a 5 because of the reduction in lifespan.
Appearance
Good looking shoe. Not as flashy as some but they do come in different colors.
Customer Service
Nothing to rate here. I've never has cause to contact Brooks about their products.
Performance
Fit well and feels great under foot. I really like them for race day and speed work during training.
Strengths
Construction, design, weight.
Weakness
Durability. (A minor issue in my opinion)

- 1670.6 miles / 261.34 hours logged
Ease of installation
It's a shoe! Most should know how these work. However, the burrito tongue does take getting used to.
