"TYR is a reputable brand. Not sure if it's just the black ones, in that they may be made with different materials than the traditional clear models, but the goggle repeatedly split on the nose. Could be disastrous during a long OWS race. Will never buy another pair of these and do not recommend them to anyone. Will be going with the AquaSphere Kaiman, and we'll see how that goes."PsyTri
Fit
Fit fine
Comfort
Very comfortable - that was the selling point for me.
Adjustability
Easy to adjust to my size
Durability
This is my 3rd pair. Each pair, the nose piece split. I rinse the goggles in fresh water after each use (almost exclusively pools), and keep stored in a goggle case. Treated them very gingerly given prior experience with the first 2 pair.
Value
Given that they expired after such a short period of use (21.41 miles over 4 months and 27 swims), I'd consider the value quite poor.
Appearance
The mirrored lenses, while functional, also look cool, especially with the black straps and frames
Customer Service
They offered to take a look at them and consider a refund.
Performance
No problems while they were functional.
