"I like their fit, stability and performance. I got the soft ground version, but for my rocky terrain, I really should have gotten the regular XT6's. The bigger lugs grab the rocks fine- but the rocks are already taking their toll on the soft rubber after only 50miles.
I dislike the lack of breathability. These shoes are better for the winter than the summer."morey000
Quality of Construction
excellent build quality
Fit
They fit me better than any of the dozen other trail shoes I tried on. Offering a decent amount of support and stability, without feeling stiff.
Comfort
Fresh out of the box I've done a few long trail runs, 20 and 23 miles. I did get one little hot spot behind my big toe. They're narrow shoes- which work for me, but tightening the laces up can easily scrunch my feet too much. A little loosening and they fit snugly. Tighter in the heel, medium narrow through the middle.
Value
they're well made shoes- but really? more than a bit overpriced.
Appearance
I'm not into the red and black color scheme. fortunately- they're appropriately covered in dust now.
Strengths
Fit. Stability. Trail worthiness. Quality
Weakness
Price. Breathability- the shoe doesn't breathe well. It keeps water out around the base- but consequently, you step in a stream, and they hold water like a glass

Ease of use
The speed lacing system does seem to work pretty well.
