"I love this watch! A definite must-have for any data geeks out there."ptr_sbr
Ease of use
There is an awful lot this watch can do, and virtually everything is customizable. Factory settings are ok, so you don't need to adjust much to start using it. But as I've become interested in certain displays/functions, its very intuitive to individualize screens and functions. Have not ventured into use of "training plans" and the very advanced functions, but they are there to use.
Quality of Construction
Excellent design and sturdy. Have knocked it on my bike handle bars, swim lane markers, etc, and it remains unscratched and looks new (of course, I've only had it a month!).
Fit
Fantastic. It is one of the thinnest training watches out there, and the face is not so gigantic that it appears abnormal if you are just wearing it around outside of training.
Comfort
Does not bother me when swimming, biking, or running. Band does not pinch, and is fully adjustable with plenty of band holes to adjust size (if going over a shirt, wetsuit, or bare arm). Easy to see the data and numbers.
Adjustability
As stated, every screen and function is totally customizable for your needs.
Durability
no issues so far.
Value
I love this watch! While it is expensive, it lives up to its costs because it really does everything I could possibly think I need, and more.
Appearance
I like the way the watch looks (color and design) but it does only come in two color schemes, so if you don't like blue/black or red/white, you're out of luck.
Customer Service
Haven't needed yet.
Performance
During pool swims, the watch is excellent and does a great job of keeping track of distance (haven't used it for open water yet). Does have a setting for swim drills when arms are moving, like for kick sets. On the bike (road or trainer), I would highly recommend the speed/cadence sensors to add to data and accuracy. But alone it worked great just for speed/distance/time. And on the run, it has worked excellent with or without a footpod, even for counting cadence and stride length. Also includes altitude. Great data! I haven't used the "triathlon" mode yet, but I understand it tracks the entire event from swim to run, including transition data. Though the wireless or bluetooth, it downloads workout data almost instantly, viewable on the Garmin Connect app or online website.
Strengths
Loaded with so many functions with intuitive functions. Totally customizable screens and functions. Sleek and durable.
Weakness
One of the more expensive training watches, and color schemes are limited.

Ease of installation
Start up was a breeze, even though there is a lot to this device. Easily found other Garmin accessories such as my existing HRM, new footpod, bike speed/candance sensors. Also easily linked to my phone's bluetooth and my home's wireless (for data transfers).
