"People gravitate to all kinds of new brand and style trail shoes, when this is what they should really be running in. It's a really well sorted out shoe. Then again, you should expect that from Saucony. They've been making shoes for a while. Companies like Altra and Hoka have interesting ideas. Perhaps they'll perfect their execution in a few years. This Peregrine is even much better designed than my uber expensive Solomon trail shoes."morey000

Quality of Construction

Great XT-900 tread. Really grippy. wears well. Solid upper.

Fit

The best part about the shoe for me. i've got narrow, flat feet. This shoe holds my foot in snugly.

Comfort

As far as the upper goes, it's pretty comfortable. Doesn't have much cushion tho'. So, if you want that in a shoe, the Peregrine isn't for you.

Durability

200mi on the shoe- all rugged trail. Looks near new

Strengths

Great Tread! Grippy, rugged. Also has a rock plate, that is protective yet flexible enough. They're light and fast for trail shoes.

Weakness

Wish they had a bit more cushion for ultra distance runs.
