"I used to run 1000+ miles a year in Pegasus, buying at least 8 pair a year as the combination of NikeID and my love of the comfort this shoe used to be had me in love with Nike. Now, even walking a couple miles in these without any running leaves my knees aching. They may work splendidly for people new to Pegasus, but old school Pegasus lovers will not enjoy these shoes. :-( "Nm True

the Pegasus construction quality has quickly eroded over the last several models

I ran in Pegasus for years, 1,000+ miles per year. Sadly, the last two models have changed so much I can no longer wear them for walking without getting sore knees, never mind running

(1)

sore knees have never been a problem - this model put Pegasus over the edge in a steadily declining, hard to wear show. I continue to wear my Pegasus shoes from 3 years ago as the worn out ones are more comfortable for the knees than these out of the box

the white overlay gets dirty very fast

(1)

compared to what Pegasus used to be, these are so different that I have had to switch brands to get the happy knees over long mileage beauty that used to be Pegasus

(3)

the white overlay is kind of ugly and gets dirty really fast

I wrote Nike and asked them to make a shoe that used to be what the old Pegasus used to be, I won't repeat their answer, but the beloved Pegasus is not coming back.

may be a great shoe for a newbie to Pegasus??

this is not what Pegasus used to be. gone is the work horse, high mileage Pegasus of the past that Pegasus lifers used to count on. the shoe has changed so much I reluctantly had to go to a different manufacturer.
