"Inexpensive and great item for people who can't stop running outside when it gets cold!"Z-dog
Ease of use
Put them on and forget about them.
Quality of Construction
Good rubber and steel springs, for sure!
Fit
I bought the corresponding size and they fit fine.
Comfort
The YakTrax are not noticeable on snow or ice, but are uncomfortable on cleared pavement. The instructions recommend staying off shoveled walks or roads.
Adjustability
Buy the size you need. Mine fit fine.
Durability
Too soon to tell. I've worn the YakTrax about half a dozen times and have run onto bare concrete before taking them off. So far no wear evident and the rubber is still supple.
Value
Saved my butt from falling on ice while running the first time I tried them. I love them.
Performance
The soles keep you from slipping on snow, or ice.
Strengths
YakTrax work exactly as advertised, and they are a "must have" for anyone running in the winter time.
Weakness
Lack of advertising. I found out about these from a friend, and had never seen them before last month.

Ease of installation
Installation consists of pulling the rubber tabs over the toe of your shoe, then back and over the heel. The front edges also need to be aligned on the sole of your shoe, then a Velcro strap on top of your foot secures the whole system. This is easier to do sitting down, but can be done standing.
