"This is a great unit! I don't use the GPS as frequently as the heart-rate monitor, but I do enjoy having both. "rayd
Comfort
The GPS is an individual unit from the watch. You can wear on your arm or there is a belt attachment that will hook the GPS to your shorts. I prefer the belt attachment. So watch is a regular size and comfortable to wear anytime.
Durability
I'm kind of mixed on this. I have been having problems with a weak GPS signal lately. I have sent it back to Timex under warranty. We'll see how they are with fixing the problem. The watch and heart rate monitor have worked flawlessly!
Value
The same Bodylink system was $275 at a sporting goods retailer. I found a great deal on the internet.
Appearance
I think the watch looks nice and is I wear it on a regular basis, even when I am not working out.
Customer Service
we'll see how Timex does with the warranty. updating this review as Timex not only replaced the GPS unit, but the entire system. Can't expect them do do any more than that!
Performance
up until lately, the entire unit worked great. Hopefully the GPS transmitter will be easily repaired. Timex replaced and it works well.
Strengths
Ease to operate
Seperate GPS transmitter so the watch is not so bulky
Pre-set your own heart rate zones for the heart rate monitor
Weakness
After about 8-months of use I am beginning to have problems with the GPS transmitter. I'm pretty sure this will be covered under the warranty, so not a big problem. Timex does offer an extended warranty for $5.00. In hindsight, I should have bought the extended warranty when I purchased the Body-link.

Ease of use
Comes with 3 different instruction manuals. Easy to follow and really easy to set-up and operate the heart rate monitor and GPS.
