"Any trainer is priceless during winter months to maintain cycling strength. The quality and durability of this trainer make it seem worth the price."runner0083

Takes a little more tweaking of the rear skewer mounts than I liked, but once it's set it's fine from then on.

(4)

Very easy once setup to mount bike. Only takes the twist of a single handle, then rotate a knob to contact rear wheel with the resistance wheel

(4)

Trainer has been used for several years and several thousand miles at my physical therapy clinic and still works fine. Only slight clicking if the resistance wheel is overtightened.

(5)

Not exactly bodily comfort, but very stable and secure whether in the saddle or up powering a lot in the big chain ring.

(5)

Fits a wide range of skewer sizes

(5)

See quality of construction above.

(2)

I rated this low because all magnetic trainers seem to be grossly overpriced for the materials and craftsmanship required. This trainer is $250 new.

(4)

Looks fine to me. Flat gray, with the always recognizable CycleOps logo.

I enjoy the automatic resistance adjustment dependent on whatever speed your rear wheel is spinning at. Only problem is sometimes if you stand up to really put some watts into it the rear wheel might slip slightly for a second, but that can usually be remedied by tightening the resistance wheels contact.

1. sturdy
2. automatically adjusting resistance
3. folds for easy storage
4. easy/quickness of use

1. could just be mine, but slight clicking at high speeds sometimes
2. slipping at high wattage output
