"If you're looking for a cheap, simple HR monitor, this isn't for you. If you want something that is going to give you as much information as you can handle, then this is the watch for you.
The watch also include elevation data, barometric readings and ambient temperature. I use these features less than most of the others, but they deserve mention.

Most of the functions on the watch are very self-explanatory and setup isn't hard. However, the times when I have needed help and had to resort to the manual, the manual was less than helpful. There's information in multiple different places and it's not always clearly explained.

The T6 is a little bulky for a watch, particularly if you're female, but it is sleekly designed and much more wearable than a Garmin.

I've occasionally lost the HR signal, but aside from those few occasional hiccups, it's been exceptional.

Flexibility. I can wear the watch at any time, it just looks like a watch, unlike the bulky Garmins. I can set it up to use GPS, or a heart rate monitor or a foot pod (which uses complicated gyroscopic stuff that I can't explain) or a bike pod (speed and distance on the bike). Or none of the above.
Battery life. The battery doesn't need regular recharging, it just takes a stock watch batter you can pick up at CVS and is very easy to replace. The heart rate monitor takes the same type of battery and is also user replaceable (Polar brands are not) as is the bike pod. The GPS and shoe pod both take AAA batteries and are, again, user replaceable.
Some heart rate monitors and sport watches are not particularly water resistant (such as the Garmins). The T6 is good to 30M which, while you're not likely to wear it that deep, provides a great deal of comfort on bringing the unit into the water.
Software. I don't use the software a lot myself because I like my personal training log that I already use, but it's reasonably user friendly though I wish it exported better.
The foot pod I've found to be very accurate, as is the bike pod. I have used GPS pucks in the past and am not a big fan so I haven't bought the GPS puck for the T6. The footpod works anywhere, outdoors, indoors, on a treadmill... whereas a GPS puck will only work outdoors with a clear view of the horizon, tricky in areas with dense trees or tall buildings.

1. Price. The Suunto T6 isn't cheap, but when you buy good equipment, you're going to have to spend more.
2. Cadence. I really wish there was a cadence meter for the T6. Power Meter connectivity would be even better, but that would be a HUGE bump in the price. As it is though, not that big of a deal.
