"I have used several different training paddles over the few years I've swam, but the Finis Freestyler did the most for correcting bad hand position issues. Plus it provided just enough resistance to feel the water and focus on a good pull. The paddles make you feel fast! (I need that!)"Kris Hayne
Quality of Construction
No bulky rubber straps all over the place, and a relatively small paddle surface
Fit
When you first use them, they fit great, but after awhile, the one finger strap loosens. Fixed the problem by epoxy in the holes where the strap goes through.
Comfort
Easy pull in the water - good water "feel"
Durability
Pretty basic design; unless I runner over it with my car, I don't forsee any problems
Value
Cheap, effective training tool
Performance
The Finis paddle helped to correct some hand entry and rotation problems I was having. I regularly use them two workouts a week
Strengths
simple design - corrects bad habits in the water; great value!
Weakness
The one retaining strap, though simple, has the tendancy to slide loose after 200 yds or so. Fixed with epoxy!

Ease of use
very simple, single strap on middle finger -that's it!
