"Very happy with my purchase, I think good value for money if you are into multi sports."VivP

I found setup to be very intuitive. I ran through the setup, then read the manual, it's not hard. Detailed intrustions on installation on the bike were real easy to follow. Just have to be sure to set wheel size accurately, but once setup it works fine. I fitted the handle bar mount and the HRM gets the readings from the speed sensor without any hassles.

Again, very intuitive. One drawback, as a triathlete, you cannot change from an "other" exercise session to a "cycle" without exiting the one and starting another. Also, no lap times, this is the biggest drawback of this device, I have learned to work around this shortfall.

Great so far, no problems

Fits nicely with its broad strap which keeps it from moving around on your wrist. It is quite large but still fairly unobtrusive, getting your wetsuit off over the CS300 in T1 poses no real problems.

No different from any other normal wrist watch, and it can be worn as your daily watch, it doesn't look like a HRM.

The "Settings" menu on the CS300 is pretty comprehensive, you can adjust most aspects of the device to your preferred view. ie. To view HR BPM or to view HR%.the list goes on.

Only had mine a few months and it has shown no signs of wear and tear.

Not many (if any) devices with comparable features to draw direct comparison. I did seriously consider the Suunto T4 before buying the CS300. I found the CS300 to be more robust.

Doesn't look like a HRM. Many friends and colleagues were surprised to hear that it acts as a bike computer as well.

Not able to rate service yet.

Overall this device works VERY well. I think you need to get used to it before you can make a judgement. At first I found that the HRM sometimes gave out some weird numbers (excessively high HR readings) but also found that if it is properly fitted and reading ok before you start your session, it works very well.

Can be used for cycling as well as running, swimming etc.
Big numbers can be read while on the move.
Can be used for 2 different bikes, this is great. (I use a montain bike and a road bike)
PolarWeblink to upload to PolarPersonal Trainer is also a terrific feature if you are into tracking your performance.

Two problems:
1.Cannot record lap times (I got over this quite quickly though.)
2. Changing from "Exercise" set to "Cycle" set is not good if you are into triathlons. I just use it as a single event timer/HRM and don't touch the watch throughout the entire event.
