"This is a great little tool for those of us who have issues starting out too fast on the long swim. It's easy to use and can positively impact your training when used properly."RunningJayhawk

Figuring out your personal tempo for long swims can take some time. But once you have your second-count down, it's easy to set and go.

I haven't had any problems with hearing the beeps underwater or water leaking into the device.

(4)

It's small enough and lightweight, I barely notice it while swimming (except for the beeping, of course)

(5)

The buttons are easy to use to increase/decrease the tempo.

I've dropped this thing multiple times and haven't had any issues. It's held up great in the water as well. Months later, the battery is holding up great.

I have a tendency to start too fast on my long swims, so the tempo trainer helps keep me right on track. The price is fair for the amount of use I've gotten from it.

Small and colorful. The screen is easy to see as well.

I've definitely seen an improvement in my stroke count and rhythm with the use of the tempo trainer.

- Small and lightweight
- Can easily hear underwater

- I've had issues with clipping the base to my goggles strap...so I actually take the tempo trainer and slip it inside my swim cap behind my ear.
- Can take some time to determine the right tempo for your long swim as well as sprints.
