Installation was straight forward and the directions were easy to follow. I installed this on my 2 bikes a 1990 Kestrel 200SC and a 2006 Scott CR1 perfectly and without problems. The crank magnet and sensor is mainly secured with zip ties and sticky tape. Wheel magnet is secured with a knurled thumb screw. I use the cadence constantly on all my rides as well as the speed. Alignment is the key.

A no brainier when following the supplied directions. I have this paired with my Garmin Edge 305. Follow the menu in the 305 to; Settings – System – Accessories to scan in the cadence senor. The speed sensor will capture automatically if all is aligned correctly. Looking at the computer will determine if all is working properly. The sensor has a indicating light which will flash red or green.

Seems really solid and about is half the size of my Garmin Edge 305. By far the largest speed cadence senor I’ve owned, but hey its wireless. The battery compartment has been accessed many times and still secures well.

The sensor rests on the chain stay on the chain ring side. It sits securely on both of my chain stays and is not too wide as to interfere with my peddling.

Adjusting it is fairly easy for alignment. The sensor has a swing arm which is loosen and tighten with the use of a Philips screwdriver. It’s the alignment with the magnet on the crank arm that is the most critical.

Road grim and rain has not affected it. Still looks good.

I paid less than the MSRP of $60.00 off an auction site. The value to performance ratio is great for me.

It looks ok to me, but maybe to big for some. My bikes chain stays are black so it blends in well. I have it on the chain ring side and it near the bottom bracket.

Wireless performance is great. I have had no problems with the sensor speed or cadence functions and performance. Accuracy is very good. The battery (CR 2032) does not like cold weather and I’ve replaced about 3-4 within the year between the two sensors I own. The sensor Part Number is 010-10644-00. I rated this a 4 just because of the battery usage. Keep extra batteries on hand.

It is accurate, reliable and a great wireless addition. Works really well for my rides and workouts.

CR2032 batteries life.
