"I have only had this bike 2 mos. Still tweaking the geometry. This bike feels great at speed. I am learning to enjoy the road feel of carbon. Best bike I have ridden. I look forward to each ride!"Offroad_Dad
Quality of Construction
2008 Scott CR1 Pro. Full carbon.
Fit
Tried medium and large sizes. At 5'10" the large fit me best. Set up with Syntace aero bar and Keo Sprint pedals.
Comfort
Rides quiet. Feels best at speed!
Durability
would like a limited lifetime warranty--got 3 years
Value
full ultegra, full carbon, mavic ksyrium elites and all at $750-1000 less than similiar spec'd bikes by the big name brands.
Appearance
nice looks but I bought for performance
Customer Service
I have not needed to contact Scott. I hope I never have to.
Performance
So far I am happy with the $$$ I spent. I would like to upgrade the seatpost, stem, and someday buy a new wheelset but that will not be for a several seasons.
Strengths
17 lbs stock, carbon. Bike wants to go fast. I am a better climber and enjoy more comfortable rides on this bike versus my old aluminum frame. Scott is a good value.
Weakness
wheel set in cross winds, poor factory seat--replaced with my old selle italia. I may try a tri specific saddle soon.

Ease of use
Gained 2 mph over my old Cannondale Caad 4 Aluminum on a 40 mile ride at a similiar fitness level to last season.
