Triathlon Gear Reviews
On Cloud Surfer
I had seen these at the running store for $100, so when I saw them online for half that, I jumped on them. I believe that I'll be happy with them. The shoemaker is certainly a niche market company, but they may very well be onto something. The difference in these shoes is the "cloud pillows" that are on the soles of the shoes. Basically, they look like someone attched small circles of garden hose to the soles of the shoes, which is what I had heard was the original idea behind them. The claim seems to be that the circles provide a good deal of cushion to the shoe and in my out of the box walk test, this really proved to be true. I was a bit concerned that I'd be losing some "road feel" and while this might be true for some folks, for this heelstriker they provide a comfort level that I haven't had in any other trainer. I rather doubt that I'll be racing in them, but as an everyday trainer, they hit the nail right on the head. If you are searching for something that looks a bit different and provides a comfortable and cushioned foot fall, these should be part of your search.

I am a huge and unapologetic Felt fan. That being said, I love this bike! While researching Tri bikes, I almost switched to the Guru, but when I compared the bikes side by side I just couldn't justify the extra cost. In the end, I'm so glad I stuck with my original feeling and went Felt. There really is no comparison of the value you get for the cost.
Felt makes a great bike that handles smoothly, is very comfortable and easy to adjust to get a great fit!
Cervelo P3
This is my first-ever tri bike as a beginner triathlete and has enabled me to progress rapidly in this passion that I hold.

I am NOT a runner. These are so soft I actually want to run farther and faster (although hey are not a fast shoe). Already looking at another pair of Hokas.

Still love these shoes though I can't wait till they find a way to make the tread last longer.

My wife picked this watch and HRM set for me as a Christmas gift. It's been the best piece of training equipment I've gotten yet. I also combine it with my speed/cadence sensor for rides, and footpod for treadmill runs. Does everything I need a multi-sport watch to do so far.

Overall, I've enjoyed the several months I've had on the Cobb Randee. While it's still not my ideal saddle, it's been good to me and I'd definitely will come back to it if I can't find that "golden saddle."

so far I really like the Power2max unit. I bought it with rotor crankset for my latest Tri bike. Seams very accurate compared to Computrainer. Easy to calibrate.....just let it sit there. Seams to be a very good value.

People gravitate to all kinds of new brand and style trail shoes, when this is what they should really be running in. It's a really well sorted out shoe. Then again, you should expect that from Saucony. They've been making shoes for a while. Companies like Altra and Hoka have interesting ideas. Perhaps they'll perfect their execution in a few years. This Peregrine is even much better designed than my uber expensive Solomon trail shoes.

Love it - when it dies I'll buy another one.

Fortunately I received this as a gift for Christmas. I read the reviews on other websites and looked at what I might be doing wrong. I followed the instructions as carefully as I could, and still the device almost killed my iPod. I tried using it on four or five separate occasions before giving up. I thought it might be the iPod, but that's still working fine now (for my running). Great idea, just needs better engineering.

This thing is a beast. If you have an older GPS and are looking to upgrade this one is amazing. It works as an every day watch and will count your steps along with your sleep patterns. I can't say enough about how much I am enjoying my watch.
If you don't plan on wearing it as your every day watch, you might be better suited to get something else.
