"I needed a swim watch, so I figured I'd splurge for this over a general stop-watch. I have absolutely no regrets and has exceeded my expectations.
I've got 3 swims with it to date and am fairly confident I've figured this thing out. I plan to add detail to this review with my initial impression and then update it again in a month or so. "camy
Quality of Construction
Nice, but I'd like to see it have a replaceable band.
Fit
Typical watch fit
Comfort
Light, fairly small. I used to swim without a watch and I don't really notice it.
Durability
Too new to rate
Value
There's nothing else (I know of) that does what this watch does. I think it's a good value considering what most new technology costs.
Appearance
I'm not overly concerned with the appearance of my tri gear. I'd have bought it even if it were Purple & Orange.
Customer Service
I've emailed the company several times and have always received a response within the hour.
Performance
It does an excellent job at what it is designed to do; count strokes & laps.
Strengths
Very impressive in counting laps & strokes automagically
Easy to use while swimming
Stores tons of workouts
Converts all swims to 100 pace in the log
Weakness
Can't see previous lap time (many watches show past lap time for a few seconds)
Only displays down to the second (ie no tenths of a sec)
Can't transfer log to computer
Minor new product issues
- 4 people use
- 34 workouts logged
- 140.28 miles / 89.54 hours logged
Ease of use
Many of the buttons are dual-purpose. So, what they do depends on what is displayed. This is needed since there is much data & functions of this watch, but can get you in trouble until it's second nature.
