"This is an all around great shoe for anyone that is looking to put in some srious miles on hard surfaces. The shoe fits true to size and the colors are great. I would highly recomend this shoe. I have just bought the Glycerin 9 and they seem to be every bit as good as the 8. I would say that if you can find the glycerin 8 for under $100 its a steal and you should get 2 pair."japutt

I have logged over 400 miles on these shoes and they still look and feel better than some shoes that have 200 fewer miles.

Value

A little pricey, but given the milage the price comes out to about .30 per mile. Can't really argue with that.

Performance

Never had a single injury because of the shoes. They actually helped me to recover from a bit of plantar fasciitis.

Strengths

A lot of cushion and arch support. This is a very durable shoe. It lasted longer than any other shoe in my running arsenal.

Weakness

The only weakness that I can see is that they are a little heavier do to the extra cushion provided by Brooks DNA.
