"I think the concept is great, but it seems like this may have been rushed to the market. I am don't think that it is ready for prime time."Tri Tool
Ease of use
Using the watch is pretty simple. The main gripe I have is that it is a pain to get the watch to just show the time of day. I also wish that I could switch it over to stop watch mode.
Quality of Construction
seems to be constructed well and durable. No problems yet.
Fit
Yes it fits my wrist.
Value
I think that if you only want a run and bike watch then this is probably great. But if you are relying upon the swim functions then this fall pretty short of a good mark.
Performance
Constantly does not recognize my stoke, records in correct lap times, and misses segments of my work out. I am a pretty good masters swimmer and I have technically correct strokes in all 4 categories. The watch constantly confuses my Free with back, and even breast at times. Every work out seems to contain errors. I hate to say it but the watch pretty worthless from a swim stand point.
Strengths
Biking and run work great.
Weakness
Constantly does not recognize my stoke, records in-correct lap times, and misses segments of my work out. I am a pretty good masters swimmer and I have technically correct strokes in all 4 categories. The watch constantly confuses my Free with back, and even breast at times. Every work out seems to contain errors. I hate to say it but the watch is pretty worthless from a swim stand point.
I also question the distance calibrator. I live in Switzerland and the Swiss are pretty careful on their measurements. I run on a 500M wood chip train and the Garmin says the train is roughly 150M shy of 500. That is a pretty big discrepancy.
