Swim
What would you do differently?: Start and front of pack. Lost about 2 minutes from catching up to people. Transition 1
Comments: The transition area ran the entire length of 36th street. My bike was only 4 racks in the front side. Got ready and realized this transition area was very long. Exit out the backside. Should have gotten some items on the walk out. Bike
Comments: Felt really good. Had some trouble with getting foot into straps at beginning of course. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Good continous pace throughout. PLayed tortoise and hair with a few runner and even passed a couple. What would you do differently?: Start slower and pick it up in the end. Post race

What a day! I fly for a living and Friday (the day before the race) I was in Eagle River Wisconsin. Had to fly the company jet to Cleveland, drop the plane off, then take Continental Airlines to Newark. Four days prior I had departed out of Newark and dropped off my car with bike and clothes for triathlon. Flight was scheduled to depart at 3:30 pm. An hour flight. Due to thunderstorms approaching NJ I didn't get into Newark until 8pm. Then I had to drive the 100 miles to ACY. Checked into Sheraton finally grabbed some zzz's
Woke up at around 5am. Had an energy bar and some water. Went down to hotel fitness center. Stretched for 20 mins. Light warm up walk and a mile run on treadmill. Got into car, found parking space and rode to registration. Got ready and went for a mile bike ride. Got into water and swam for 5 mins.
