Comments: Didn't think I was going to make it a couple of times. This was a really tough event for me. Disappointed in my overall performance.... What would you do differently?: Spend MORE time swimming prior to the event! Transition 1
Comments: Transition was smooth but forgot to grab chews for the road! What would you do differently?: Put chews in shoes or helmet Bike
Comments: Really need another cassette to give me more gears for the hills. My cadence was great on the flat, but slowed down considerably on the hills. What would you do differently?: Purchase better gearing Transition 2
Comments: Felt VERY tired by this point of the event. Legs/quads were rubberized from the hills. What would you do differently?: Do more bike to run bricks to acclimate my legs to the required work. Run
Comments: I was done before I began! I managed an "airborne shuffle" up to the first mile then wound up walking a 1/4 mile. Ran again to the water point and turned around - dumped nice cold water on my head and shuffled some more. My legs were flat out EXHAUSTED from the swim and then the bike. I walked twice more before finishing strong around the lake. What would you do differently?: Train harder/better.....or MORE Post race

No warmup to speak of other than some stretching and walking around the event site
