Pre-race routine:

Wait in line to get into the park, Wait in line for the port a potty, wait in line (sweating to death) for the waves to start. Stretched a bit to ease pre race boredom.
Event warmup:

I was sporting a wet suit and probably lost 15 lbs waiting for the race to start. That was just enough warmup for me.

Comments:

Nice course, would like to have seen more volunteers so that the waves could start closer, but all in all it was still nice. Found myself drifting off course several times.
What would you do differently?:

Watch where I am swimming, I must have swam 2000m that race with all the coming back to course I had to do. Need to definately work on my swimming.

Course: Beautiful bike course, the road was quite rough, but still enjoyable. Loved the challenge of the Hill smack dab in the middle of it. Nice climb, made me look forward to the ride back.
