Swim
Comments: Water was nice. Not sure why but I'm getting the yips with the swim. I was a little to amped by the first buoy and had to calm myself down and get a normal breathing pattern. But, after I turned for home I put in the kick. Siting was a little poor on coming in. What would you do differently?: Little more open water swim training. Transition 1
Comments: Good transition although I had a slight problem strapping on bike shoes. Bike
Comments: New strategy involves staying off of the big chain as much as I can and save my legs for the run. Only a couple hills where I slowed otherwise picked up some good speed where I could. Transition 2
Comments: Did not have speed laces with new shoes and didn't realize how much time it takes to tie. What would you do differently?: Speed laces Run
Comments: The part of my tri gain that is improving and the part I train the least. Felt real good on the run and could have done a little more. Post race
Warm down: Coconut water, packed up and went home. What limited your ability to perform faster: Swim could have been better Last updated: 2012-07-29 12:00 AM

Got up early to walk the dog. Doing the sprint so the 8:30 start was nice for me as I didn't have to get up to early.
Parked my car in the wrong overflow lot and was worried I'd get a ticket so after I setup my bike, etc. I ran back to my car and parked in the correct lot. Once again, great that the Tri started at 8:30.
Also cheered on the folks getting out of the water from the Olympic.
