Pre-ride more hills that are mile plus grinders.

Ramps and small inclines took it out of me. The bike wore down my ability to run a slight hill.
What would you do differently?:

Run more hills.

Re=rack gear and walk barefoot through finish area.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not sufficient hill training.

Event comments:

Camp Pendleton had tons of military personnel that volunteered. However, actual race venue had little or no course volunteers and those that were wearing the shirts did not know simple items such as where to go to athlete check-in, where the swim leg starts, were to turn on run, etc..
